Néstor Cantillana

Néstor is a theater, film and television actor with more than 25 years of professional experience. In television, Néstor's career is extensive. He has participated in numerous series and soap operas for different national broadcasters: TVN, Canal 13, Chilevisión, Megavisión. On an international level, we can highlight the two seasons of "Prófugos", drama series by director Pablo Larraín for HBO Latin America, "Isabel" by director Rodrigo Bazaes for Amazon Prime Video, "Invisible heroes" produced by Parox by Mika Kurvinen and Alicia Scherson for Finnish TV, "42 Days of darkness", produced by Fabula by directors Claudia Huaiquimilla and Gaspar Antilo for Netflix. His career in film is also broad. He has participated in many of the most awarded and internationally recognized Chilean films by renowned directors, such as "Soccer stories" by Andrés Wood, "No" and "Neruda" by Pablo Larraín, "Cofralandes, Chilean rhapsody" by Raúl Ruiz, "The memory of water" and "The punishment" by Matías Bize, "The sacred family" and "A fantastic woman" by Sebastián Lelio, winner of the Oscar for Best International Film 2018. In theater, he has worked in numerous theatrical productions starring in plays such as "Hamlet", "Caligula", "The Misanthrope", "Roberto Zuco", among many others. As a director he has staged plays by Marguerite Duras, Philipp Löhle, Rafael Spregelburd, Lola Arias and Heiner Müller, among others.
