Marcus Reyes was born in the islands of Trinidad & Tobago, but was raised in Brooklyn, New York. Growing up, Marcus dreamed of becoming a filmmaker. He worked in television for more than ten years. After working in television, Marcus made his first documentary A Broken Faith, then went on to do his second documentary Papi Ain't No Snitch: The Rasheed Thurmond story. Looking to dive right into serious screenwriting Marcus wrote and directed his first series called Blue City a crime-drama about a group of NYPD detectives running a corruption ring in New York. Blue City received several awards from multiple festivals for best series and has accumulated over 20+ million minutes streamed on Amazon Video. Marcus just finished two documentaries and is currently working on his next series and feature films.
