Tanisha Thammavonga is a half-asian Canadian actress from small town southern Ontario. Her father is a craftsman and refugee from Laos and her mother is a visual artist of Scottish and French descent. Her extensive training as a dancer frequently brought her to Toronto where she was discovered at a dance convention after winning several awards. She began her professional acting career thereafter.
