Cathy Rankin
Cathy Rankin is an established entertainment personality with a television and film career spanning over 17 years. Her credits include starring and featured roles in commercial Television and film, hosting, interviewing, spokesperson, voiceover and print. Cathy's background in marketing, advertising and PR adds to her brand, giving her the ability to contribute both on and off camera, from concept creation, strategic planning, branding, promotions and communications, to research, writing and editing.
As a host and reporter, Cathy has worked on many national and international network and cable TV shows. She has conducted in-depth and Red Carpet interviews with a wide variety of notable celebrities in sports and entertainment, from Bob Costas and Chris Collinsworth, to Pam Anderson, Jordin Sparks and many more. She is also a bankable spokesperson and show host with multiple national infomercials that have successfully generated over $200 million dollars for various companies, giving her an extensive background of interviewing a wide range of CEOs, authors, and entrepreneurs. This diverse work has given her the ability to relate in any genre to both the subject of the interview, as well as her audience with a positive, down to earth style and off the cuff humor and candor. Cathy has been featured as a Red Carpet host for multiple Superbowl events, Muhammad Ali's Celebrity Fight Night, the Sports Emmy Awards and more. In 2004, her Monday Night Football promo with Leslie Nielsen was nominated for a Sports Emmy Award in the same category as the Olympics.
Throughout her career, Cathy has also been involved in one of her biggest passions - music - from a young age. Her sister was a working drummer in an all-female hard rock band, her grandfather a professional touring Big Band musician, and her grandmother a symphony violinist. Inspired by these influences and with a love of rock and roll, she has enjoyed collaborating with many musician friends over the years, culminating in her recent position as lead vocalist for two established corporate and event bands, Daisy Train and Superhero. With her love of music, Cathy was thrilled to also take on a co-producing role with Brickhouse.TV in 2017, hosting a channel that covers a variety of national musical artists and acts at various venues. Cathy's most recent in-depth interviews include bands and artists such as Everclear, Winger, the Sweet, Fishbone, Warrant, Lita Ford, John Waite, Ratt, Puddle of Mudd, Kix and many more.
Cathy continues to grow and evolve her brand through her ongoing collaborative projects and creative pursuits in music, television and film. Off camera, she enjoys spending time with her daughter and family, traveling, and giving back to our Military Veterans through her charity calendar project, which has been a deeply personal and ongoing commitment.
