Marianne Bourg

Marianne Bourg is a Luxembourgish-French actress. She started acting at a young age at Luxembourg's National Conservatory for Drama. After high school, she attended Cours Florent while studying literature in Paris. After graduating, Marianne traveled around Asia and settled down in Cambodia where she worked in a non-profit organization in Phnom Penh. She later returned to Europe and went on to study drama at the University of Cambridge and graduated from EDHEC Business School with a Master's in Finance and Economics. Realizing very soon that her passion for acting was calling too strongly for her to pursue a career in finance, she moved to the United States to start a full-time acting career. After completing her MFA in Acting for Film in Los Angeles in 2013, Marianne made her feature film debut in the movie Wizardream with Malcolm McDowell. She has also appeared in multiple TV shows, such as NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service (2003), Sangre Negra (2016), Awkward. (2011) and Angie Tribeca (2016). In early 2015, Marianne won the award for Best Actress at CMF for her role in the movie Snake Eyes (2015). The movie was later invited to be screened at the Cannes Film Festival. In 2016, Marianne was once again invited to attend the Cannes Film Festival for the movies Happy Tree (2016) and Plaything (2016). Marianne's most recent work includes award-winning features films, The Room (2019), with Quantum of Solace (2008) actress, Olga Kurylenko, and Spanish comedy, ¡He matado a mi marido! (2018). She is also currently touring in the French musical show, 'Welcome' by Patrice Thibaud.

Hopeless romantic Matt (Brandon W. Jones) decides it’s time to pop the big question to his girlfriend, Alexis (Cassi Thomson). Before the big evening he practices his proposal on his best friend, Liz (Christa B. Allen). Matt believes if he follows the rules of all of his favorite romantic comedies he’s guaranteed a “Yes!” To Matt’s dismay, Alexis gently rejects him stating he’s only interested in the idea of being in love and not a real relationship. After this unexpected disaster, Matt binge watches one rom-com after another and comes up with plan to win Alexis back. Though Liz thinks Matt’s plan is absurd she agrees to be his wingman. The operation to rekindle his relationship appears to be working only for Matt to face the reality that he and Alexis may have grown apart and his heart belongs elsewhere.
