Joshua Nelson
Born and raised in the Bronx, Joshua grew up to become a graduate of the prestigious High School of Performing Arts in Manhattan. Upon graduation he landed a leading role on the NBC sitcom Roomies (1987) co-starring Burt Young and Corey Haim. Soon after, he spent a year on the ABC soap opera Ryan's Hope with Lauren Velez. His stage credits include the off-Broadway production of Between the Rains and William Mastrosimone's Tamer of Horses, where he starred as Darci Alves and Hector, respectively. His film work includes a role opposite Al Pacino in the thriller Sea of Love (1989). On a different note, Joshua spent several years as the lead singer and bassist of the heavy metal band New York's Finest. Two years ago, Joshua wrote and directed the outrageous play, 'Dangerous Spice', which enjoyed a very successful run at the Duplex in Greenwich Village. Since turning his play 'Savage Roses" into the film 'Locas 4 Life", Joshua has gone to write 2 other films including "Addiction" and "Baby Fat".
