Archana Lakshminarasimhaswamy is a South Indian television actress and model who worked predominately in the Kannada and Tamil television industry. She is best known for her character in the Kannada serial called Manedevru. Archana was born on 3rd February 1992 in Mysore, Karnataka, and has a brother. She did her schooling in Mysore and holds a degree in Business Management (HR) from the University of Mysore. She worked as an HR while she was in her final year degree in Mysore. After graduating, she joined Genpact India as Research Analyst in 2012. Modeling had always been her passion. She continued it even while she was in a full-time job. In 2013, she won the Miss Karnataka title, which opened the doors for her acting career. After she participated in the show, a lot of casting agency contacted her with television serial opportunities. She chose to switch her career and started giving tryouts for the characters. She made her acting debut with the Kannada serial called Madhubala, in which she played a negative lead. The show was produced and directed by Hayavadhana Vadiraj. She bagged 'Best Negative Heroine' award in Star Parivaar awards by Star Suvarna channel. However, she gained more popularity and is well known for her character as Janaki in ManeDevru serial which was produced by actor-producer Puneeth Rajkumar which was aired in Colors Kannada. Archana made her Tamil debut with the serial Kannamma as protagonist in 2018 but gained more popularity for her negative lead in Nayagi serial which aired in SunTv. She has also acted in a feature film called Noorondu Nenapu, released in 2017 in kannada. It got a positive response from both audiences and critics. Her recent kannada cinema was Consilium which released in December 2021. In 2018, she got married to Vignesh Sharma, VP, Head of FEMS Delivery-Operations & Presales based in the United States. It was an arranged marriage, but Archana admits that she could not have found a better life partner. She took a break from full time acting and relocated to New York. After exploring the city for a few days, she joined as a Human Resource intern in a company and took up a full-time job as a Human Resources Generalist at Jackson Hewitt Tax Service Inc. based in New York. She now works with Demand Science as a Global Talent Acquisition Business Partner.
