Jimpa Sangpo Bhutia

Jimpa Bhutia, born on July 18, 1998, is an Indian filmmaker of Tibetan descent who has been working in Indian cinema for five years. He was born in Dehradun, India, and earned his degree in filmmaking from the Asian Academy of Film & Television in Noida. His latest feature, 'Dev-Ansh', earned him the 'Best Film Director' award at his college award function. In addition to this, he has worked on numerous projects such as MTV's Forbidden Angels, Saale-Aashiq, Dukaan, Chilli Chicken, Vicky Vidya KWWV and Amar Singh Chamkila. He has also assisted renowned director Imtiaz Ali and the writing duo Siddharth-Garima, known for their work on 'Raamleela'. Jimpa currently resides in Mumbai and is preparing for his next feature, 'It Never Rains in June'.
