Mohit Madaan

Mohit Madaan was born to Vijay Madaan and Renu Madaan on 7 January, 1988 in suburban Delhi. He moved to the UAE with his family at the age of 3 continuing his education there till the age of 13. In 2001, Mohit migrated with his family to Auckland, New Zealand where he completed his high school education at Macleans College till Year 13. He was a bright student and keen athlete who enjoyed playing football and cricket for his school on a national level. He started building his interest towards Drama while taking part in school plays and theatre groups. Mohit got his Bachelors Degree in Business and Information Management (BBIM) from the University of Auckland. Upon his graduation his family migrated back to Dubai and Mohit began his career working as an External Auditor at a reputed Accounting firm. Later, he realized this was not the profession he wanted to be in and left that and began working with his father handling the finance department in their family business. While working he also signed up for Film Making and Acting courses at the New York Film Academy in Abu Dhabi as a passion and learnt a great deal. He would work at the office during the day and attend classes at the academy in the evenings. There he worked with prominent Hollywood teachers and during that phase he gained appreciation from his teachers and peers and soon came to realise he would like to give the Bollywood industry a try. He then moved to Mumbai, and continues to reside there while working in the Hindi film industry. Acting Career Mohit started his career with the movie 'Love Exchange' released in October 2015. He played the lead role of Siddharth Sathe, a Maharashtrian boy who falls in love with a Punjabi girl and the comedic family drama unfolds. The actor received positive feedback for his acting skills and the movie was well received by the crowd in North India and in Maharashtra, as Mohit really indulged in a typical 'Marathi Mulga' character. His upcoming movie is 'Aksar 2' alongside Zareen Khan where he plays the pivotal role of Bachchan. The Actor's future projects include the movie 'Ishq Tera' opposite Hrishitaa Bhatt.
