Digvijay Purohit

Digvijay Purohit is an Indian actor who is predominantly known for working in Hindi films and television industry. He was born and brought up in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The versatile artist made his silver screen debut in 2008 with Jodhaa Akbar featuring a star-studded cast including Hrithik Roshan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sonu Sood, among others. He played the role of Rajkumar Bhagwan Das in the film. This was followed by some key roles in Na Aana Is Des Laado, Balika Vadhu, Baatein Kuch Ankahi Si, and many other serials. In the coming years, Digvijay went on to play many roles in web series, such as 'The Empire', Tanav 2, State of Siege 26/11, etc. He also featured in several movies, such as Race 2 in 2013 and Dishoom in 2016, a performance that earned him great recognition and accolades. He has also appeared in Kaanch Ke Rishte in 2009, C.I.D. in 2011, Best of Luck Nikki in 2012 and Udaan in 2019. Digvijay also starred in Ikyawann, Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya, Crime Patrol, Badii Devrani, and and Teri Meri Dooriyan, etc. Some of his recent films include Sam Bahadur, Yodha, The Sabarmati Report and Love All. Previously, he had done theatre in India and abroad for many years, including full length play and experimental theatre.
