Ziaul Faruq Apurba is an actor, model and singer. Apurba was first recognized when he won an award from the television show called "You Got the Looks" which aired in 2004, he was named Mr. Bangladesh. His career took off when he appeared in a television drama called Boibahik in 2006. He also did a commercial for Nescafe as a model. His latest appearance in media is a web-series known as Buker Moddhe Agun in which he played ASP Golam Mamun. It was directed by Taneem Rahman Angshu.
